test

This week has been full of a lot of waiting. As some of y’all might know because of a positive covid test last week, it has set us a week back for launch. Saying that, this coming Saturday we are planning to fly out!

When we found out we weren’t going to be able to launch on the original date it brought a lot of questions and disappointment to a lot of our squad. I was very convicted towards my attitude about wanting to leave so bad and not wanting to stay in Georgia. But, the Lord is so good! Since then we have moved to a different campground and live with roommates! Every day is full of sessions and learning, when we aren’t doing that it is mostly time spent with the Lord! There is a beautiful open fields, perfect hammering trees, and lots of trails to walk! We have also gotten to spend pretty much this whole week with our teams, getting to know each other, studying the bible together, cooking all of our meals with each other, and my favorite, worshipping together.

Now, since we are leaving this week for Nicaragua let me inform you on some things! When we arrive in Nicaragua, we will get to jump right into ministry. If we would have launched last week we would have received the same training as we are here. Ministry could look like disaster relief, jail ministry, sports camps, kids camps, and so much more! I won’t know what ministry I will be put in until I am there!

Y’all let me tell you this week was much needed. I think a lot of us have grown in our faith and knowledge of the Lord more than we could have imagined in the last few days. God turns every switched plans and unexpected turn to our good!

Wow, this makes me smile! God does have a reason for everything and I’m so excited to see what your next season will look like, I’m also very thankful that the teams got to spend an extra week together- studying, worshiping and getting to know each other better

We are praying for travel safety –
    Love you
