One week ago my team left Jaco where we had debrief. Debrief is when the whole squad gets together along with our coaches, squad mentor, and all of the leadership. We all together have five days of rest, catching up, and lots of fun! In those five days we had one on ones, teachings, worship, time on the beach, and time to enjoy Jaco! It was for sure five days of filling up before moving to our next ministry to pour out.

Just over a week ago, we moved to our ministry in Rio Grande. My team lives in a little house consisting of two little bedrooms and a bathroom. It’s also on a fruit farm! We are about a 20 minute walk to the church we are serving at, and about a 3 minute walk to the pastors house where we share all of our meals at! All seven of us work at the fruit farm early in the morning before it reaches the heat of the day(here it gets so hot they quite work at 9 and return to work later!). After we get done working on the farm the days will consist of… evangelism, painting, cleaning, speaking in the church, kids ministry, and all other kinds of ministry with the church!

My team is so excited for all this ministry has in store for us! Just this first week we have made a lot of relationships in this ministry, whether it is in the garden or evangelism. My team is also growing so much within each other and the Lord, they are all willing to do the uncomfortable and be stretched to then find the growth in that. We have already been stretched with preaching at least 3-4 times a week and constantly having a sermon ready for a kids church or unexpected service.

We are very blessed with our hosts, they are so caring and have a lot planned for us this month. The Lord continues to blow any and every expectation any of us have had for our ministry and give us something so much greater!
